MOD CONFLICT DETECTORS WILL NOT HELP FIGURING OUT THESE ISSUES!!! I can’t stress that enough! Mod Conflict Detectors detect when two CC mods are altering the same resource ID.The URL showing an example of how this works is: If that’s the case, the 50% method is a popular process used to track-down what CC or mod is causing the problem. If running the game with only MCCC in the mod folder works with no issues, then the problem is definitely in the other mods or CC that were in use previously. Remove all other CC and mods into a temporary folder outside the Sims 4 folder. The best way to verify that the problem is happening due to MCCC and not other mods/cc is to run the game with only MCCC in the mod folder. These LastExceptions will continue to happen until the mods/cc causing problems are removed or updated. Note that I did include CC with that! Some of EA’s patches breaks custom objects or clothing items as well and sometimes it can prevent mods from working correctly if they are deployed.

These almost always happen as a result of bad or out-of-date mods or CC.

You can tell this happened by going to your Sims 4 folder and you will see a LastExceptions.txt file that is generated during game loading. If this happens, you will not see MCCC in the game even if you have it installed correctly. A LastException.txt can be generated when your game is loading.Versions before this, most likely will not work so don’t be surprised if that’s the case!įirst, the flowchart below designed by KlingonDragon shows the basic troubleshooting steps to go through:

This is the version I can verify that the mod works with. This has been tested to be working with (but does not require) GTW, OR, Get Together, Dine Out, City Life, Vampires, Parenthood, Cats & Dogs and the patch released NovemPC 1.36.104.1020 / Mac 1.36.104.1220.
